official portrait |
1953 Gyeongsangnam-do Born in Geoje-gun , he graduated from Gyeongnam High School and Kyunghee University College of Law . After passing the bar exam , he worked as one of the top four opposition human rights lawyers in Busan. Through his relationship with his friend Roh Moo-hyun , who worked with him at the Busan Law Firm, he worked for the Presidential Secretariat in the Participatory Government. He served as Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs , Senior Secretary for Civil Society , and Chief of Staff to the President .
Roh Moo -hyun retired in 2008 After living with former President Bong Ha Village , he lived from politics to politics, and in 2009, former President Roh Moo -hyun, who was accused of prosecution investigation on the Gate of Park Yeon -cha, served as the second president of the world's labor union . Later, in 2011, he jumped into the path of full -scale politics, starting with the book of Moon Jae -in's destiny .
In 2012, he ran for the 19th National Assembly election and was elected as a member of the National Assembly in Sasang-gu, Busan, and together with Ahn Cheol-soo , he emerged as one of the two major opposition presidential candidates in the 18th Presidential Election and then went through the primary and unification process to become the Saenuri Party. Although she formed a strong rivalry with candidate Park Geun-hye , she ultimately received 48.02% of the votes and was defeated by a narrow margin of 3.53%. Afterwards, he maintained his position as a member of the National Assembly and continued to hide as a rank-and-file member. In 2015 , he was elected as the 2nd party representative of the New Politics Alliance for Democracy and led the 20th National Assembly election . However, due to successive by-election defeats and severe factional conflict within the party, a large-scale division in the opposition party continued, he changed the name of the party to the Democratic Party of Korea , appointed Kim Jong-in as the chairman of the election preparation committee, and resigned from the party representative position.
Afterwards, during the 20th National Assembly election in 2016, he made all-out efforts by providing various behind-the-scenes support, and overcame the biggest crisis in his political life when the results of the ruling Saenuri Party losing in the election, in which the opposition party was expected to suffer a one-sided defeat , were announced.[31] As a result, he regained support and was recognized as an overwhelming presidential candidate from the opposition party from the second half of 2016, and after former President Park Geun-hye was removed from office due to the Park Geun-hye-Choi Soon-sil gate , an early presidential election was held.[32] He ran as a member of the Democratic Party of Korea in the 19th presidential election and was elected as the 19th president of the Republic of Korea, recording a vote rate of 41.08%. The next day, May 10, he took office immediately and conducted state affairs until May 9, 2022. Among all current presidents alive, he is the only one who receives all the courtesy of former presidents of the Republic of Korea.

3.1. Moon Jae-in government
3.1.1.
This is an incident that occurred because President Moon Jae-in's term did not start at 00:00 on the inauguration day due to the special situation of an election due to a vacancy .
Civil Act Article 157 (Starting Point of Period) When a period is determined by day, week, month or year, the first day of the period shall not be included. However, this is not the case when the period begins at 00:00 in the morning.
In principle, all statutory period calculations for which the period calculation method is not separately specified are subject to Article 157 of the Civil Act above. If this provision is applied, May 10, 2017, the first day, is not included in the calculation of the term of office of President Moon Jae-in, who took office at 8:09 on May 10, 2017, so 5 years will be counted from May 11, 2017. Instead of 24:00 on May 9, 2022 (0:00 on the 10th), President Moon Jae-in's term expires at 24:00 on May 10, 2022 (0:00 on the 11th).
In contrast, in the constitutional amendment proposed by President Moon Jae-in in early 2018, his term of office was set to end on May 9, 2022 (Supplementary Provisions, Article 3). Although the constitutional amendment bill itself was left stranded, this is meaningful in that it shows that the Blue House itself viewed President Moon Jae-in's term as ending on May 9, 2022, and it is highly likely that it was nailed down to resolve the issues on the last day of the term.[33]
This issue, which had not received attention during his term, arose through the media in 2021, about a year before the end of President Moon Jae-in's term, and the National Election Commission announced that it was a matter that needed review. # Most of the legal experts interviewed in the article believed that the exercise of authority had already begun on the day of inauguration, so the rule not including the first day was not applicable. On May 18, 2021, the National Election Commission , after review, confirmed the expiration date of President Moon Jae-in's term as 24:00 on May 9, 2022. #
After 2022 On May 9 , President Moon Jae-in left office normally and will retire in 2022. May 10th 20th Yoon Seok-yeol The President began his duties.
Likewise, Lee Jae-myung, who was elected in the 2025 by-election The president's term of office will also be several hours shorter than that of presidents elected in general presidential elections, and the same will apply to future presidents elected in elections after impeachment.

It is said that he was a typical father's award in child education and was somewhat strict for his son. Mrs. Kim Jung -sook says, "I say anything to my daughter is okay." On the other hand, his son, Moon Joon -yong , was said to have been sword by his father because he was not eating beans when he was young . In his autobiography, Moon Jae -in regretted this point and did not violate his son twice, and unlike his general father award, he tried to be open. The career decision was fully entrusted to the child's decision and encouraged him to do what he would like to do. In addition, Moon Joon -yong also had a video game that he liked as a child, and the legendary guidebook and video of Zelda, who had enjoyed in the second or third grades of elementary school, were in English, and they were translated into Korean lines under the game description of dozens of pages written in English. #
Since the Civilian Government, there are many cases where the brothers/sisters and children of past presidents have good or bad public awareness, but there are not many relatives of former President Moon Jae-in other than their children. The family lineage is so ordinary that it is difficult to find even one influential person in the political and business circles among close relatives.

According to the book 'Moon Jae -in Story '[37] It is said that Moon Jae -ik was promoted to a high -ranking position in the offshore position . However, the president's secretary -general contacted former Captain Moon Jae -ik and said, "It would not be possible to help the shipping company because of the shipping company, so it would be better to go back to the captain."[38] Naver Kookmin Ilbo

12.1. Inaugural Address of the 19th President
Inaugural Address of the 19th President of the Republic of Korea |
Dear fellow citizens, thank you. I bow my head and deeply thank the people for their great choice . Today, as the 19th President of the Republic of Korea, I take the first step towards a new Republic of Korea. Right now, my shoulders are heavy with the weighty sense of calling bestowed upon me by the people of the country. Right now, my heart is burning with passion to create a country that has never been experienced before. And now my head is full of blueprints to open a new world of integration and coexistence. The new Republic of Korea we are trying to create is the country our ancestors consistently pursued despite numerous setbacks and defeats. It is also a country that our young people have longed to achieve by enduring a lot of sacrifice and dedication. In order to create such a Republic of Korea, I declare in front of history and the people that I will fulfill my responsibility and mission as the 19th President of the Republic of Korea with a fearful but humble heart. I would like to express my deepest condolences along with words of gratitude to the candidates who took part in the election together. There are no winners or losers in this election. We are partners who must lead a new Republic of Korea together. Now we must leave behind the fierce competition and move forward together hand in hand. Fellow Koreans, in the past few months we have gone through an unprecedented period of political upheaval . Politics was chaotic, but the people were great. Even in the face of the impeachment and arrest of the incumbent president, the people paved the way for the Republic of Korea. Our people did not get frustrated, but rather turned it into an opportunity for blessings and blessings, and finally opened a new world today. The greatness of the Republic of Korea is the greatness of the people. And in this presidential election, our people made another piece of history. A new president was chosen with even support from all over the country. Starting today, I will become the president of all people. Each and every citizen who did not support me is my people, and I will serve them as our people. I dare to promise you. May 10, 2017, this day will go down in history as an example of the beginning of true national unity. Fellow Koreans whom we respect and love, Over the past difficult years, people have asked if this is the country. President Moon Jae-in will start anew with that very question. From today, he will become the president who makes the country a proper country. We will boldly break with the wrong practices of the old era. I will be new from the president. First of all, we will end the authoritarian presidential culture. As soon as I finish my preparations, I will come out of the current Blue House and open the era of the Gwanghwamun Presidency. I will discuss with the staff head-to-shoulder. I will become a president who communicates frequently with the people. Key issues will be briefed directly to the media by the President. On my way home from work, I will stop by the market and have informal conversations with the citizens I run into. Occasionally, we will hold a grand debate at Gwanghwamun Square . I will share the president's imperial power as much as possible. Power institutions will be completely independent from politics. We will create a check system to prevent any power agency from exercising its power without prejudice. I will work in a low position. I will become a president who is at eye level with the people. The security crisis will also be resolved quickly. We will work tirelessly for peace on the Korean Peninsula. If necessary, I will fly straight to Washington. I also go to Beijing and Tokyo. When the conditions are right, I will also go to Pyongyang. I will do everything I can to establish peace on the Korean Peninsula. The ROK-US alliance will be further strengthened. On the one hand, we will seriously negotiate with the US and China to resolve the THAAD issue. Strong national security comes from strong national defense. We will strive to strengthen our self-reliant national defense capabilities. We will also lay the foundation for resolving the North Korean nuclear issue. We will provide a turning point in easing tensions on the Korean Peninsula by establishing a peace structure in Northeast Asia. We will also change the politics of division and conflict. The conflict between conservatives and progressives must end. The President will come forward and talk directly. Opposition parties are partners in state affairs. We will regularize the conversation and meet often. We will appoint personnel evenly across the country. We will take ability and the right place as the great principle of personnel management. Regardless of whether or not they support me, I will select competent people and entrust them with the work. The economy is struggling both inside and outside the country. People's livelihood is also difficult. As promised in the election process, I will take care of jobs first of all. At the same time, we will take the lead in chaebol reform. Under the Moon Jae-in administration, the term collusion between politics and business will disappear completely. We will resolve conflicts between regions, classes, and generations, and seek ways to resolve the problem of non-regular workers. We will create a world without discrimination. I will tell you again and again. In addition to Moon Jae -in, opportunities will be equal in the Democratic government. The process will be fair. The result will be righteous. Fellow Koreans, This presidential election was held following the impeachment of the former president. The history of the unfortunate president continues. With this election as an opportunity, this unfortunate history must end. I will set a new example for the President of the Republic of Korea. I will do my best to become a successful president evaluated by the people and history. So, I will repay your support and encouragement. I will become a clean president. I will become a president who takes office empty-handed and leaves empty-handed. Someday, I will return to my hometown and become a president who can share affection with my neighbors by becoming an ordinary citizen. He will remain as the pride of the people. I will become an honest president who keeps his promises. I will meticulously follow the promises I made during the election process. True political development will be possible only when we take the lead in politics that is trusted by the President. I will not shout that I will do the impossible. I will tell you that what is wrong is wrong. I will not cover unfavorable public opinion with lies. I will be a fair president. We will create a world without privileges and violations. We will create a world where people benefit from common sense. We will not ignore the pain of our neighbors. We will always look after it with an anxious heart so that there are no marginalized people. I will become a president who wipes away the sad tears of the people. I will become a communicative president. I will become a lowly person and a humble power to build the most powerful country. I will not be a president who dominates and governs, but a president who communicates and communicates. As the president of the Gwanghwamun era, I will stay close to the people. I will remain as a warm-hearted president and a friend-like president. Fellow Koreans whom we love and respect, Today, May 10, 2017, the Republic of Korea will start again. The great history of making a country a nation begins. Please join us on this path. I will dedicate my life and work. thank you |
12.2. Retirement speech of the 19th President
Retirement speech of the 19th President of the Republic of Korea |
We wish for the happiness of all citizens and support the successful history of the Republic of Korea. The past five years have been a period of overcoming a series of national crises in the middle of turbulent world history together with the people. It was difficult, but our people became one in the face of a crisis. The Republic of Korea has grown stronger amidst the crisis and made a greater leap forward. The national prestige of the Republic of Korea has also increased. Korea is now an advanced country and has become a leading country. Our people are truly great. I couldn't be more proud to be with a great people. My retirement address is a tribute to our great people. When the constitutional order collapsed due to the government corruption incident, our people replaced the government and reestablished democracy through the most peaceful and cultural candlelight vigils and in accordance with the due process of impeachment established by the Constitution and laws . The whole world admired the maturity of the Korean people. Our people have become a source of hope for world democracy, which is experiencing a crisis. I am solemn at how our government has lived up to the aspirations of the Candlelight Square, which called for a proper country. However, even if our government has not achieved everything, the people's aspiration for a country worthy of our country will never cease. The hope of candlelight will still bloom as our hope and power. Our people made the PyeongChang Winter Olympics a success as a peace Olympics. The world is once again enthusiastic about Korea. From the beginning of his term, he transformed the war crisis on the Korean Peninsula, which had been heightened, into a phase of dialogue and diplomacy, raising hopes for a new era of peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula. The reason we couldn't move forward wasn't just because we lacked will and effort. On the one hand, there were barriers that were difficult to overcome through our will alone. This is a wall we must overcome. Peace is a condition for our survival and prosperity. I sincerely hope that efforts to institutionalize denuclearization and peace will continue along with the resumption of dialogue between North and South Korea. We can never forget that we overcame the crisis caused by Japan's unfair export regulations with the united power of all our people. We took this as an opportunity to become self-reliant in the small, medium and large equipment industries, and strengthening the competitiveness of the small, medium and large equipment industries led to strengthening the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry. It was thanks to the global competitiveness of our manufacturing industry that we were able to achieve record-high export performance amid the global economic downturn caused by COVID-19 . What was best of all was that I learned how to successfully solve problems. A collaboration system that goes beyond government ministries, cooperation between large and small businesses and researchers, the government's active R&D investment and full support by breaking down regulations, and above all, the encouragement and support of the entire public gave us confidence that we could do it. The method of success was the same when developing a coronavirus diagnostic kit, rapidly increasing mask production, improving the efficiency of special syringes for vaccination, and resolving the urea water shortage . Fellow Koreans, The last report I received on coping with COVID-19 was 969 views. From January 20, 2020, when the first corona confirmed case was confirmed in Korea, I read it for the first time every day without missing it, even on holidays or during overseas tours, and when the situation was serious, several reports a day were uploaded, leading to 969 reports. It contains the hard work and dedication of the government, disease control and medical staff. It vividly captures the suffering and exhausting lives of the people who have continued for a long time. The people, the government, and the president suffered a lot. However, I am constantly impressed by the high capacity of our people to become stronger during times of crisis. It's so amazing that most of the proud things that happened during our government happened during the coronavirus crisis. This was truly the strength of the Republic of Korea that was strong in times of crisis. As the whole world went through the corona crisis together, Korea unexpectedly turned out to be a model country leading the world in quarantine . I used to envy the advanced countries' level of quarantine and medical care, but when we actually experienced the crisis, we realized that we were the ones doing the best. Many people who still thought we were weak and behind have rediscovered themselves and gained self-esteem. In the corona crisis, South Korea recovered the economy quickly and grew to $ 35,000 for one -person income. The Korean Wave culture in Korea stood out when the world suffered from Corona, and comforted the world. The Korean New Deal declared by our government in the midst of the coronavirus crisis established Korea as a powerhouse in cutting-edge science and technology, including digital and innovation, and the Green New Deal and declaration of carbon neutrality made Korea a leading country in responding to the climate crisis and international cooperation. Going through the COVID-19 crisis, Korea has become a leading country in many fields, including democracy, economy, exports, digital, innovation, quarantine, healthcare, culture, military power, defense, climate crisis response, diplomacy and international cooperation. Finally we took off our masks and saw each other face to face. It is now possible to lower the Corona Infectious Disease grade from Grade 1 to Grade 2. The crisis is not over yet. A new crisis is coming. However, our people will overcome any crises and turn crises into opportunities. Fellow Koreans, The history of the Republic of Korea's success is all the more valuable because it was made by overcoming all sorts of trials and tribulations. Korea has become the most successful country in the world for the past 70 years after World War II and the only country that has entered the developed world from a developing country after World War II. It is an achievement and pride of the Republic of Korea that no one can deny. I am very grateful that the Korean government has also been able to raise the national prestige and pride of the Republic of Korea to the next level by overcoming crises together with the people and leaping forward as a leading nation. In the midst of a global crisis, Korea has leaped to become a 'country that is strong against crises', 'a country that no one can shake', and 'a country that leads the world'. The leading role is, of course, our people. The Republic of Korea is truly a 'country of great people' that is recognized and envied by the world. I hope that we all take pride in our heightened national prestige as great citizens. I am very proud to have been a part of the successful history of the Republic of Korea with its great people. It was truly an honor to be able to work with our great people. I look forward to continuing Korea's successful history in the next administration . I hope that by inheriting and developing the accumulated achievements of previous governments, our national power will grow and we will move toward a better future. It is more important than anything else to unite the minds of the people. In the election process , the Republic of Korea will move forward with the path of true success as it goes on the path of deeper conflict. thank you |

[1] Lunar year 1952 December 10th .[2] The fourth birthday among the presidents is the fourth fastest.[3] Around the time I entered elementary school, Busan Metropolitan City Since he moved to Yeongdo-gu and lived only in Busan Metropolitan City until entering college , there is a view that his actual hometown is Busan Metropolitan City, and Moon Jae-in himself rarely revealed his identity as a native of Geoje City. However, apart from this, he considers his hometown to be Geoje. #[4] See Moon Jae-in/Home .[5] He has not been used since he was elected president. Only the presidential office has been raised. It became a server down on September 24, 2024, but is now fixed.[6] Before the presidential election, there were many hashtags, but after the election, only photos and texts were uploaded without hashtags, and as the term of office passed, hashtags are increasing. However, at the end of his term, it just served as a social media platform to post the president's posts. Since his retirement, it has been used as a window to upload his life in mass production in earnest.[7] No videos have been uploaded since June 7, 2017. Afterwards, during his term as president, speeches were mainly posted on the Moon Jae-in administration's Blue House # channel.[8] Post updates stopped on May 11, 2017, one day after the presidential inauguration.[9] Chungseon Gongpa - Uian Gongpa - Igok - Gwanbukpa 33rd generation descendant Jae ○ (在○) generation. ( Genealogy )[10] Origin: South Hamgyong Province Unseong- ri, Heungnam-si (now Hamgyeongnam-do) Hamheung City Unseong-dong , Heungnam District ).[11] The road name address is 150 Jeolyeong-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan, and a meat shop and skin care room are currently located at this location.[12] From the 3rd Special Forces Battalion, Battalion Headquarters Operations and Special Forces Administration[13] Military Manpower Administration Notice No. 2017-28 (May 19, 2017)[14] In the third year of Kookmin School , he was baptized at the Catholic Diocese of the Catholic Diocese in Yeongdo, Busan .[15] In an interview with Pope Francis, he revealed his baptismal name.[16] Currently, aging has been reduced to 170cm tall. In fact, in the 19th presidential election, it was smaller than Lee Jae -myung , 172cm.[17] #[18] He is the only president of the former president .[19] Member of the Planning and Finance Committee in the first half and National Defense Committee in the second half .[20] Currently Namhang Elementary School.[21] Kim Young-sam is his senior. Therefore, Gyeongnam High School became the only general high school that produced two Presidents of the Republic of Korea .[22] I retook the exam for one year at Jongno Academy and entered school in 1972.[23] At this time, the brigade commander was Chun Doo-hwan. was a brigadier[24] The foundation that manages Bongha Village is called the Bongha Foundation.[25] It was a joint campaign leader of the 4 opposition parties.[26] He was elected, defeating political newcomer Son Su-jo, who was running as the Saenuri Party candidate at the time . Considering his political status, etc., it was a refreshing victory.[27] At the time, when former CEO Lee Hae -chan stepped down due to the resignation of the leadership, he acted as the representative as a presidential candidate.[28] The party leader concurrently held the position ex officio.[29] As the New Politics Alliance for Democracy changed the party name according to the procedure under the leadership of former public relations chairman Son Hye- won, he automatically became the first representative.[30] After the closing of business, he was re -examined as a corporation .[31] However, the Democratic Party won the general election , but even though Moon Jae -in had a game to retire from politics if Honam was supported for Honam. He was defeated in Honam. For this reason, I was struggling with the exit strategy.[32] According to Article 71 of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, in the event of an accident or a vacancy in the presidency, a successor to the presidency must be elected within 60 days .[33] Since it is meaningless to extend the term of office by one day during the lame duck period right before handing over to the next president at the very end of his term, it is of course much better to create a humble image that does not dwell on term extension.[34] This is a fact that former President Moon Jae-in revealed during a state visit to India in July 2018. However, since he had already moved abroad in June, the month before that, he was no longer an instructor.[35] In the 'documents related to school register change' of Mr. Seo, the son of Da-hye Moon and his wife, it is said that he sold a villa in Gugi-dong, Seoul on July 10, 2018, and then submitted documents related to school register change to an elementary school in Seo-gun on the 11th of the same month.[36] Here is a picture from the source below.

Since the Blue House secretary cannot have party membership, he left the party after being appointed.[44] As of 2007, it is estimated that he joined the Uri Party after the resignation of Chief Min Jeong-seok, a driver with party registration , and it seems that he had party registration even after Roh Moo-hyun 's withdrawal from the Uri Party. As a special assistant (special adviser) is not a political officer at the Blue House, it is possible to hold party membership.[45] Withdrawal from the party due to appointment to political office at the Blue House. Since the Chief of Staff to the President cannot have party affiliation, he left the party again after being appointed.[46] However, even after completing his term as Chief of Staff to the President, he did not become a party member for a while before officially entering politics. This was because the Democratic Party at the time merged into the United Democratic Party ahead of the 18th National Assembly election, and anti-Roh forces became the new mainstream.[47] Democratic Party and new party.[48] Absorbed into the New Politics Alliance for Democracy .[49] As of 2026 , he is the only former president of the Republic of Korea to hold party membership.[50] Only one verse appears in the middle of the song.
