Before settling in Kuwait , the Saba clan members were exiled to Umm Qasir (أم قصر) in southern Iraq by the Ottoman Empire for their pirate lifestyle of plundering trade ships. He settled in various areas of southern Iran and Iraq before settling in Kuwait around 1683 or 1714, and then settled in Kuwait around 1752 and started a business.
During the reign of the 7th King Mubarak (reigned 1896-1915), a protection treaty was signed with Britain , laying the foundation for today's Kuwait. When Kuwait became independent in 1961, it became the ruling family of an independent country.

Although there is less corruption than other Arab monarchies, there is controversy here too. First, the position of prime minister was monopolized by the royal family, and people who criticized the royal family were even arrested. [1] Since Kuwait is an emir, which is lower in rank than a kingdom, it uses house, which is lower in rank than dynasty. So, instead of using Prince / Princess as the title for family members like in the neighboring country Saudi Arabia, they use Sheikh /Sheikha as their titles.
