In 1715, he married Friedrich of Hessen-Kassel, but he was originally aimed at the succession of the throne, and the values of each other were different, so they were not smooth and there were no children. 1718 On November 30, when his brother Carl XIIIII was killed during the invasion of Norway in the war of North Korea , his nephew Holstein-Duke of Kotorov Karl Friedrich[2] (1700 ~ 1739) and their cousin Fürst Marquis (Fürst) Marquis Gustav Jamuel Leopold and the throne, and was crowned in 1718 with the support of the Swedish Parliament led by Arbid Horn. Originally, Karl Friedrich's succession was ahead of her sister's son, but Karl Friedrich was raised as a pampering for her grandmother and her grandmother of Ulike Eleonore . Karl Friedrich did not inherit the throne of Sweden, which was closer to him, and because of his incompetence, he lost almost all of his own Holstein Gotorf's estate, and his son, Peter II , had to spend a disadvantageous child.
Two years later, she passed the throne to her husband, who was crowned as Frederick I in 1720 . Afterwards, she lived as the queen of her husband Frederick I instead of as queen, and died of smallpox on November 24, 1741 .
