Princess Madeleine, Duchess of Helsingland and Estrichland

Princess of Sweden . She is the youngest child and second daughter of King Carl XVI Gustav and Queen Silvia .

His godparents are Princess Benedicte of Denmark, Prince Andreas of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, his youngest aunt Princess Christina, and maternal uncle Walter Sommalat.

He then moved to New York and worked at the World Childhood Foundation, founded by Queen Silvia. Soon after, in January 2011, her romance with Christopher O'Neill, a British-American financier who was eight years her senior, became known. It is said that she briefly met Jamie Dingmen, who dated her older sister Victoria, and that she became acquainted with Christopher through Jamie Dingmen. They announced their engagement on October 25, 2012. Christopher was not awarded the title because he chose not to receive Swedish citizenship for business reasons.

On June 8, 2013, they got married at the Royal Palace in Stockholm . The wedding dress was designed by Valentino Garavani . After getting married, she lived in New York , London , and Miami, and moved to Stockholm in the summer of 2024.

The children belong to the royal family (Kungliga Familjen) but not to the royal family (Kungliga Huset) and do not have the honorific title of Royal Highness.
