June 16, 1929 Pyongan North Province Born in Jeongju -gun . After graduating from Sinui -dong Middle School, I went to Vietnam . Dankook University in 1949 He went to the law department but quickly dropped out and entered the Military Academy (9th) in the same year. The Korean Army in Korea at the same time as graduating from the Army Academy on January 14, 1950 It was so -called. He then participated in the Korean War and in 1952 he served as an artillery battalion. In 1953, he completed the US Army Artillery School. In 1956 he graduated from an army university . In 1958, he served as an operational staff of the Army Headquarters .

After participating in the May 16 Military Administration in 1961 , he served as the head of Chungnam Branch of the reconstruction movement . In 1970, he served as chairman of the Incheon Export Industry Corporation and the chairman of the Korea Export Industry Corporation from 1971 to 1984.

In 1981, in the 11th National Assembly's election, Seoul as a candidate for the Democratic Justice Party Guro -gu , Guro -gu Democratic Party Run for the election district He was elected with Kim Byung -oh. Democratic Justice Party National District in the 12th National Assembly election held on February 12, 1985 He was elected to the National Assembly 45. May 14, 1985, Lee Jae -hyung He was appointed as the secretary general of the National Assembly . From February to December 1988, he served as the 5th Minister of Labor . 1989 Korea Trade Investment Promotion Corporation He was appointed to the chairman .

In 1997, he joined the New Political National Assembly ahead of the 15th presidential election and supported Kim Dae -jung. In 2000, he was nominated for the 16th National Assembly's election, despite the controversy caused by the participation of the May 16 military affairs . At the end of the same year, Seo Young -hoon, president of the New Millennium Democratic Party, He took office as a governor and left the Millennium Democratic Party and succeeded his position as a member of the National Assembly.

In 2002, ahead of the 16th presidential election, when Roh Moo-hyun , the presidential candidate of the Millennium Democratic Party, lost popularity, he joined the Candidate Unification Council and worked. During the impeachment of President Roh Moo-hyun in 2004 , he was one of the people who stormed the main conference hall at dawn and fought with Uri Party lawmakers.

When former President Roh Tae-woo was given a state funeral after his death on October 26, 2021, his name was listed as <Former President Roh Tae-woo Funeral Committee Member>. #

His wife passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022. #
