He is a former medical practitioner and politician in Korea .

He was born in 1894 in Bukcheong-gun, Hamgyeongnam- do. After graduating from Bukcheong Agricultural High School, he graduated from Gyeongseong Medical College (now Seoul National University Medical College ) in 1926 . Afterwards, he took over Samsan Hospital in Wonju, Gangwon-do, and started a medical business . He also worked as a public hospital in Inje -gun and Wonju- gun in Gangwon- do during the Japanese colonial period. He also worked as a doctor.

In the 1952 local elections held during the Syngman Rhee regime after the 8.15 liberation, he ran for the Gangwon-do Assembly and was elected. He also served as the Chairman of the Gangwon Provincial Assembly . In 1956 he was elected chairman of the Gangwon-do Party of the Democratic Party . Later, in the Democratic Party, he belonged to the new faction in terms of genealogy. In 1957 he was appointed to the Central Committee of the Democratic Party. In the 4th National Assembly election in 1958 , he ran for the Wonju-si constituency in Gangwon-do as a Democratic Party candidate, and the Liberal Party , an active constituency member of the National Assembly, He was elected after defeating Candidate Jae-Hoon Ham .

In the 1960 5th National Assembly election, he ran as a Democratic candidate in the same constituency and was elected. In late 1960, when Jung Joon resigned as a member of the National Assembly to run for mayor of Seoul in his 1960 local elections, the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea in early 1961 He was elected as the chairman of the Health and Social Committee of the House of Commons (now the Health and Welfare Committee ).

Democratic Party in the 6th National Assembly elections in 1963 national district He ran for the 15th seat in the National Assembly , but was defeated. In 1966, he was appointed as an advisor to the Gangwon-do Party of the People's Party. In 1969, he was active in the National Struggle Committee against the constitutional amendment for a third term.

He died on January 12, 1978, at his home in Ilshin-dong, Wonju-si due to illness. #
