Seokrim Choi

He is a former politician in South Korea . He is headquartered in Jeonju.[1] .

October 5, 1922 Gyeongsangnam- do He was born in Hwasan-ri, Maam-myeon, Goseong-gun . He graduated from Seoul National University Law School .

Since then, he served as executive director of the Korea Fisheries Federation and secretary general of the Korean Fishermen's Association.

In the 4th National Assembly election in 1958 , he applied for nomination for the Liberal Party , but was defeated by Kim Ki-yong , and was elected as an independent in Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. After being elected, he joined the Liberal Party with Hyun Oh Bong and others. He later served as a member of the Central Committee of the Liberal Party.

In the 1960 5th National Assembly election, he ran as a candidate for the Liberal Party in the constituency and was elected. However, some young people caused a riot in the counting, saying that they were the root cause of the 3.15 fraudulent election, and they were elected through the belated counting . Then, he lost his position as a member of the National Assembly after the Supreme Court ruled that some elections were invalid .

In the 6th National Assembly election in 1963 , as a candidate for the Democratic Republican Party, he ran for the constituency of Goseong-gun, Chungmu- si, and Tongyeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam- do, and was elected. In 1965 he served as the president of the Korean Boxing Committee and the Asian Boxing Federation. In 1966 he served as vice president of the World Boxing Federation and president of the Korea Monopoly Association. In the 1967 7th National Assembly election, he also ran as a Democratic Republican candidate in the same constituency and was elected. However, on May 2, 1970, the Supreme Court ruled that the elections were invalid for 32 voting districts in Tongyeong-gun and 45 voting districts in Goseong-gun due to fraudulent elections . Due to this, he lost his seat as a member of the legislature, but in the by-election held on the 22nd of the same month , he ran as a candidate for the Democratic Republican Party and was re-elected .

In 1971, ahead of the 8th National Assembly election, he was eliminated from the Democratic Republican Party nomination race with Choi Jae-gu . As a result, he left the Democratic Republican Party and ran for the election district in Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do as a candidate for the National Party , but was defeated by Choi Jae- gu of the Democratic Republican Party. In 1972, he served as the president of Samheung Fishery in Gimhae- gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.

Afterwards, on December 21, 1974, Seoul Malli-dong 2-ga, Seodaemun- gu[2] He died of illness at home .
