Meanwhile, during the Jamboree, a temporary radio broadcast was operated within the city via FM 95.9MHz. The callsign was HLKJ-FM, output 5W, broadcast from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. Kim Ye-ryeong, who was a college student at the time, participated as a reporter, PD, and announcer as a station staff. In fact, it is quite unusual that the Jamboree event was broadcasted on the radio, and it can be seen that it was in fact a nationally supported event. In addition, an English-language newspaper called " The Sorak Daily " was published and distributed to participants around the world. At the time, Hong Jeong-wook , a former member of the National Assembly , was an intern at NBC's Seoul office while attending college.[5] I participated in the publication of this English newspaper as a staff member.[6] “This was crazy, ” he recalled of his hardships at the time. To produce a daily newspaper with a small number of manpower, there was a limit no matter how much the government provided budget support. Still, the daily newspaper was produced and distributed for 16 days without any problems.
The Jamboree site, which was held at the time, is operated as a training center in Gangwon- do under the name of Gangwon-do World Jamboree Training Center . However, the size has been reduced compared to that time.
Ring Road , a road on the outskirts of downtown Chuncheon , was built in preparation for this competition and was named Jamboree Road when it opened.[7]
KBS 2TV on July 22 of the same year In the popular corner of ' Bongsunga School ', with a good laugh, Mang-gu (Lee Chang-hoon) incorrectly says "Jam Bala Contest" over the World Jamboree , or Oh Seo-bang ( Oh Jae- mi) is crying sadly, but why is there a jam throwing contest ? ( Related video ) At the time, it was popular enough to be covered in a popular comedy program, and one of the words that assistants say when nagging trainees at the military boot camp is, "Are you guys coming to the Jamboree? " It was called.
Let me tell you the news, hiccup! According to the book, an announcer who was broadcasting news related to this jamboree misread the 8 nights and 9 days in the news manuscript and said that it would "run for 899 days."
It was reexamined as being better than the jamboree held in Saemangeum 32 years later .

[1] Currently 244 Jamboree-ro, Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do[2] The head of both groups served as the president of the Boy Scouts of Korea, respectively.[3] As a courtesy not seen by scouts from other countries, when entering, the crew members lined up on both sides pull out bows, cross each other, and enter under it, just like an army or navy officer's wedding. At the 25th Saemangeum Convention, President Yun Seok-yeol and First Lady Kim Kun-hee, honorary presidents, received this honor on behalf of the current scout president.[4] The theme song was sung by Kim Se-hwan . At the time, the album was released as a limited edition by Jigu Records, so it became a rare album and was not released as a sound source later. Because of this, there were no related videos, but due to the chaos of 2023, several broadcasting stations including KBS released the old version . It was revealed while unpacking the video . In particular, Crab showed its authority by inserting Kim Se-hwan's entire song (Korean + English) as an insert song.[5] Hong Jung- wook graduated from Harvard University , but at the time, he was transferred to Seoul National University's Department of Political Science and International Relations as a Harvard exchange student in his third year.[6] Hong Jung-wook had a background as editor-in-chief of a school magazine when he was a student at Chout Rosemary Hall High School.[7] National Routes 46 and 56 were improved in preparation for this competition .
