An exhibition (博覽會, Exhibition or Exposition) refers to an exhibition where all kinds of products related to agriculture, commerce, industry, etc. are gathered together and sold, advertised, and evaluated for superiority and inferiority in order to improve and develop products and promote industry.[1]
It is held at the exhibition hall . It is the core of the exhibition industry called the MICE industry . Expos account for almost all of the exhibition industry, so much so that they are literally called Alpha and Omega . There is no discussion about the exhibition industry without expos.
In the 21st century , exhibitions and expositions are no longer clearly distinguished. Usually, when works of art were exhibited, it was called an exhibition, and when other general products were exhibited, it was called a fair. However, works of art are also commercialized due to globalization , and as products compete on a global basis due to globalization, they gradually become more artistic and similar.

2. history
The original form of the fair appears in the Bible . According to Chapter 1 of Ester in the Old Testament , it is recorded that in the third year of King Ahasuerus ' reign, he displayed goods that showed the prosperity of the kingdom and his authority and held a festival for 180 days. Modern fairs are not much different from those of this time. source
In the Middle Ages , it became a type of festival where kings , lords , and knights of various European countries displayed and gave various gifts, prizes , and trophies to show their authority . The Leipziger Messe in Germany dates back to 1165 . Since the national power of each European country was somewhat similar, in addition to competition through force , there was also economic and political competition, so fairs developed rapidly. In East Asia , there was no concept that could be called an expo. This is because East Asia was strictly maintained in a tribute - installation relationship centered on China . In other words, in East Asia, there was no development of exhibitions because countries with great national power did not compete with each other like in Europe . Trade fairs similar to modern ones developed in the Spanish Netherlands and the Republic of Venice under the Absburg dynasty . Since commerce was the main business of these countries, they created fairs similar to modern ones to sell their products to foreign countries.
The modern industrial exhibition began in 1761. uk See the London Industrial Exhibition for the first time. After that, the so-called General Exhibition , the 1851 London Expo, which is now called the Expo , also began in London. Since then, the general exhibition has grown so much that an international organization called the International Exposition Organization (BIE) was established, and the so-called cool-time system (...) was implemented in the name of registration fairs and recognition fairs . Since then, general exhibitions have been separated into expos , and trade fairs by industry or consumer fairs are mainly held.
