Min Hae-kyung

Korean singer .​ From the 1980s to the early 90's, he enjoyed the popularity of the dance pops and ballads in those days. At the time, it was also famous as a pretty sexy dance singer.

In 1980, he debuted with the song “Whose song is this?” at the domestic preliminary round of the 2nd World Song Festival hosted by TBC . Although he did not win a prize, he released an album that year and began his career in earnest. Soon after, the lyrical ballad "A Girl's Love Story," released in 1981, became a long-term hit and won the Rookie of the Year Award at the MBC Teen Singer Song Festival at the end of that year.[10] Then, the following year, it reached the top 10 singers.[11] Despite being a rookie singer, he achieved decent results, including being selected, and in 1983, he released a duet with Kim Hyun-jun called “My Life is Mine,” which represents the feelings of teenagers who dislike excessive interference from their parents, and established himself as a popular star by ranking first in the K-pop Top Ten for four weeks. However, some parents regarded him as a bad singer. The story of the song being designated as a banned song due to opposition from some parents at the time of seeing the actual lyrics was revealed in Immortal Songs on February 27, 2016.

In 1983, when his popularity was at its peak , the fairy entrance scandal broke out and he was banned from appearing on broadcasts, so he ended up living in Japan for a while. Perhaps because of that incident, Min Hae-kyung is quite fluent in Japanese.

He returned to Korea in 1986, when the ban on appearances was lifted. Afterwards, the song "No More Love" included in the comeback album gained popularity, reaching number one in the top 10 music charts at the time , and successfully resumed domestic activities. At the time, she also presented music that had been recorded in Japan. Min Hae-kyung's early songs were mainly lyrical ballad-style songs for adults, but starting with the hit "No More Love," she turned into a dance singer.

Afterwards, he continued his broadcasting career, mainly appearing on adult music programs. In 2013, they released their 17th full-length album "The Balance" and the single "WE LOVE YOU" in 2017. He was evaluated as having still not rusted his singing ability.
