The Grand Fleet is a fleet of the British Navy that was active during World War I. It was a fleet organized under the belief that it would be difficult to respond with the mainland fleet alone against the navy of the German Empire, which was the enemy and the world's second-largest navy at the time .

When World War I broke out, the Grand Fleet was founded by combining the First Fleet of the Mainland Fleet with some forces from the Second Fleet, and its commander-in-chief was John Jellicoe. The captain was in charge.
