1967 Gangwon-do Jeongseon-gun Born in hibernation . He graduated from Sabuk Elementary School , Sabuk Middle School , Yeongwol Technical High School , and Yeongwol Technical College .
In the 6th National Simultaneous Local Elections in 2014, he ran for the Gangwon Provincial Council as a candidate for the New Politics Alliance for Democracy, but was defeated by Saenuri Party candidate Nam Gyeong-moon . In the 7th National Simultaneous Local Elections in 2018, he ran for the Gangwon Provincial Council as a candidate for the Democratic Party of Korea and was elected, defeating Cha Ju-young, a candidate for the Liberty Korea Party. In the 8th National Simultaneous Local Elections in 2022, he ran for the Gangwon Provincial Council as a candidate for the Democratic Party of Korea, but was defeated by People Power Party candidate Kim Ki- cheol.
